I'll start:

Morphine - The Night (2000)

The last album Morphine put out, released a year after Mark Sandman's passing. It features slightly more instrumentation apart from their usual trio of drums, bass and saxophone, while not straying too far from the formula that makes their discography so great. It's not as good as their magnum opus Cure for Pain, but it's a close second. Great record for long summer nights!

Last one was actually OK Computer earlier today, but given this is an "other" music section... Yesterday went back to The Evens's eponymous debut from 2005. Lovely for a pleasant winter's day at home (winter where I am in Australia is generally nicer than summer). A man on baritone guitar, a woman on drums, both taking turns singing separately and together, nothing else needed.

the last (non-rh) album i listened to was grace by jeff buckley.. i feel like there's usually some overlap with radiohead fans and jeff buckley fans

My most played albums of the moment are the latest Pulp and the latest Foxwarren, extremely digging these two. But I was just listening to some good ol’ Nick Drake (no album, but the rarities-compilation Made To Love Magic).

Just finished listening to Marika Papagika’s album! It’s a collection of 20th-century Greek folk and urban songs influenced by Ottoman melodies that were recorded in 1920s in New York, where she was singing for Greek Diaspora. My favorites are “Smyrneiko Minore”, “Olympos Ke Kisavos” and “Stis Arkadias Ton Plantano”. One of the songs I like from her that was originally recommended to me by my friend is “Bournovalio manes” (it’s really good)

Agreed. I just started listening to Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk, enjoying it quite a bit.

Hallucinogen - Twisted. Been getting more into electronic music lately, and somehow got interested in the trance subgenre. Tried it out of curiosity, and absolutely loved it. Nonstop classic goa trance bangers throughout its entire runtime. How it's not bolded on RYM is a mystery to me.
